Pursuit OS is a self-directed learning platform operated as a sole proprietorship doing business as "Pursuit OS." We can be reached at support@pursuitos.app.
Pursuit OS uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate learning curriculum, flashcards, quizzes, and study content. When you use AI features, your learning goals, pursuit names, and step descriptions are sent to Anthropic's API to process your request.
AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Verify any information independently before relying on it for professional, academic, or certification purposes. We make no guarantees about the accuracy of AI-generated content.
Under our commercial agreement with Anthropic, your data is not used to train their AI models.
You can avoid AI processing by not using AI-powered features (ladder generation, Go Deeper, Simplify, flashcards, quizzes, I'm Stuck). Core features including progress tracking and notes do not use AI processing.
We share data only with the service providers needed to operate Pursuit OS:
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not use your data for behavioral profiling.
Pursuit OS is based in the United States. Our infrastructure (Supabase, Vercel, Anthropic) is US-based. If you are located in the EU or UK, your data is transferred to the US under Standard Contractual Clauses in accordance with GDPR Article 46.

You can update your display name, email, and password from within the app settings at any time.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.
Pursuit OS is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us at support@pursuitos.app and we will delete it.
We implement appropriate technical security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed password storage, row-level security on all database tables, and server-side API key management. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the app. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
