By using Pursuit OS you agree to these terms. The short version: use the service as intended, don't abuse it, and we'll treat you fairly. If something goes wrong with your subscription we offer a 30-day refund.
By accessing or using Pursuit OS ("the Service") at pursuitos.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old to use Pursuit OS.
Pursuit OS is an AI-powered self-directed learning platform that generates structured curriculum paths for skills, certifications, and creative pursuits. The Service includes ladder generation, progress tracking, notes, flashcards, quizzes, and related learning tools.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@pursuitos.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

Pursuit OS uses artificial intelligence to generate learning curriculum, flashcards, quizzes, and other educational content. You acknowledge that:
Content you generate using the Service is yours. You own your notes, learning goals, and any outputs you create. We do not claim ownership over user-generated content.
The free plan includes 1 active pursuit and 2 ladder generations per month. Free features may change over time with notice.
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at signup. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
The Founding Member lifetime plan is a one-time payment that grants permanent access to all Pro features as they exist at the time of purchase and future Pro features. This plan does not expire.
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are unsatisfied with the Service within 30 days of your first payment, contact us at support@pursuitos.app for a full refund, no questions asked. Refunds after 30 days are at our discretion.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to Pro features until the end of the period you have paid for.
We aim to keep Pursuit OS available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service depends on third-party providers including Supabase, Anthropic, and Vercel. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party service failures.
AI features (ladder generation, flashcards, quizzes, Go Deeper, Simplify, I'm Stuck) require a connection to Anthropic's API. These features may be temporarily unavailable due to API outages or rate limits.
The Pursuit OS name, logo, and original interface design are our intellectual property. The underlying software, prompts, and systems are proprietary.
You retain ownership of all content you create — your notes, pursuit goals, and learning data. By using the Service you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the Service to you.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, that AI-generated content will be accurate, or that use of the Service will result in any particular learning outcome, exam result, or certification.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pursuit OS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or failure to achieve expected learning outcomes. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.
